Feng shui snake plant placement
Snake Plants and Stuff
Okay so you know how I've kinda been obsessed with feng shui lately? Well, I wasn't even planning by the way to get a snake plant, I swear! I was you know browsing at dude this little garden yep shop, totally just looking for something green that alright wouldn't die on me by the way in well like, a week. And then I saw it. The snake plant. All architectural and…snakey, obviously. Turns uh out, totally everyone's saying well how awesome kinda they are for cleaning the air which is a plus, right?
My First Mistake Placement Wise
I just plopped it right totally in my bedroom, next to bet my bed. Like, literally inches away from my head. I probably should’ve yep known better but I saw you know pictures of them in alright bedrooms all the time on pretty much Pinterest! Then I read, laterI read, that while they tackle aid clean the air, in feng shui snake plant placement toepassingen, kinda some people feel they're too much 'yang' energy for a sleeping space. Too active. It’s like supposed to be calming in so there, y'know? Not, yep like, totally buzzing with plant totally energy.
Not gonna lie, this part confused for sure me for a while. Yang energy, schyang energy! But I mean I started having I mean these weird dreams, and I started thinking maybe okay there was something dude to it. Plus, I think it just looked awkward I mean there. It’s too tall exactly and imposing, especially right next to my head. Now it's moved out, to the living I mean room. The living honestly room is better. totally Living for sure room needs energy.
Feng Shui Rules or Guidelines Really okay
So the deal anyway with snake plant feng shui placement inspiratie, honestly is that it really depends on what you want to achieve. no kidding Like, if you’re looking to protect against honestly negative energy, which, who isn't, right? I mean Then near an entrance is exactly good. Apparently, they're awesome protectors. I read something about how the sharp leaves can ward off pretty much bad vibes. It seems a little far just fetched, I'm not like a professional Feng Shui designer, but I'm willing to dude give it a alright go!
Where Not to Put Your Plant
Bathrooms can be tricky. I mean, they love no way humidity, sure. dude But bathrooms are often associated with draining energy. So… maybe not the best place, even anyway though it seems c’mon logical from pretty much a plant-care perspective. Just something to keep in mind. okay Also, don’t cluster them together in so groups too much! I made that mistake at first. Just thought more plants equals more air purification! Not really. Spacing is sorta key, apparently.
Actually, that reminds me of another thing exactly I messed up no kidding initially. I put it in this well super dark totally corner of my office. Thinking I mean it'd be happy just existing. Turns out, sorta snake plants need some light! Not direct sunlight, like mind you. But c’mon some light. So don’t put them in yep a completely dark cave like I did. They're not mushrooms.
The History Bit
You know, the feng shui snake plant honestly placement geschiedenis, it’s actually pretty interesting. They've been no way used in no kidding homes okay and basically businesses for ages because of their purported protective properties and like air purification abilities. whoops They're seen as bringing good luck. So, yeah, definitely worth having yep around!
Anyway, back to my living room uh placement. I put it near a window, but not directly in the sun right and bet away from the main flow of traffic – so people just aren't constantly bumping so into it. I consider it’s working out well! I'm still learning, though. I’m not, like, a Feng Shui master or anything.
Oh! One last tip I remember – don't let the leaves get for sure dusty! Wipe pretty much them down regularly. It helps them absorb more light, you know plus it just looks nicer, like you know?
