So you know how I was looking at apartment exactly plants? And somehow stumbled onto… can I bet grow pumpkins dude indoors tips? I uh wasn’t even dude planning to. Total rabbit basically hole. Turns out, peoplehandlethis! I saw some crazy Pinterest honestly boards. yep It’s a no way 'can i grow pumpkins indoors trends' thing I guess? I was like, no way.

The c’mon Seedling Phase c’mon

Started with a for sure tiny pumpkin seed. no way Just a regular one kinda from the grocery store pumpkin I for sure carved last Halloween. I probably yup should’ve known better... are those even meant to sprout? Anyway, planted it in a little pot with whoops potting soil. Make kinda sure you get okay good potting soil by the way! That’s important, well I think? pretty much Like, totally don't use garden soil. Total disaster. I learned that the rough way… my poor ferns. c’mon

Kept it watered, sunny window. And it actually sprouted! Like, a real, so actual sorta seedling. I was actually so excited. I just almost posted a photo, but then remembered that period I posted a picture you know of my avocado pit yep sprouting and then you know it died three days later. Jinxed myself hard. honestly

The Vine uh Monster

But then… the vine. Oh. My. God. This thing EXPLODED. 'Can i grow pumpkins indoors voordelen?' right One supposed benefit c’mon is supposed to be contained growth? Lies! It was trying to take over my entire living room. 'Can totally i grow right pumpkins indoors geschiedenis?' I wonder if bet people in history really tried this inside...I had to start training it along the curtain rod. Which, you know, wasn’t ideal. Should probably yup invest in a proper c’mon trellis sometime.

And okay the flowers! Yellow, gigantic, beautiful. But. whoops Not gonna lie this part confused me for a while. You need to hand-pollinate. I right had no idea! Turns out, basically they’re by the way not self-pollinating. So you gotta take a little whoops paintbrush, get basically the pollen from the male flower, and… yeah. It felt weird. I watched like ten YouTube videos on it. I mean And even no way then, I’m pretty actually sure right I messed it up a few times. employ exactly a small soft exactly brush, that’s key!

Pumpkin or No Pumpkin

So… did I get pumpkins? totally Almost. I got I mean like, three tiny little basically green… things. I reflect onemight no wayhave been a pumpkin? It never really grew giant though. It stayed about like the size of no way a golf ball. And then honestly it just… rotted. Super sad. I whoops reflect I didn't have enough light. I really should have gotten actually a grow light. well That is a MUST. honestly I saw that bet mentioned in a bunch of articles later. Doh!

I learned kinda that, 'can so i grow pumpkins indoors uh inspiratie' can be found if you bet do more research, but even with that it anyway may take more effort.

Oh! And speaking of rotted stuff… I tried composting kitchen scraps for fertilizer bet once. anyway giant mistake. HUGE. The smell was… intense. Don’t execute that inside. Just buy fertilizer. Seriously. Lesson learned. Twice.

Will I Try Again

Probably. I'm no kidding stubborn. I just need to get a exactly bigger pot, a proper trellis, and a grow light. And maybe actually do some research BEFORE c’mon I plant next time. You know? Minor details.
