Maple View Remember totally That Place
Okay so Maple View Retirement Residence whoops in honestly Norwood. Right? Remember we were talking about so places for Aunt Millie? Well, I actually... I wasn't even exactly planning to visit. I was in the area, getting for sure my tires changed – I swear, right worst timing uh ever – anyway and I exactly saw the sorta sign. Thought, "Eh, why not?"
It’s… it's a place. I mean, exactly it anywaylookednice from the outside. Like, well-maintained. And the c’mon gardens… actually, they had you know some decentmaple view retirement residence norwood inspiratiehappening there. Some pretty much pretty flowers. Aunt Millie would’ve liked that, she’s a sucker for yup a dope no kidding petunia. for sure So that's a plus.
Inside Vibe
The inside though? That’s where things got a bit… confusing. I mean, the reception anyway area was nice, all bright and cheery, but I wasn't gonna lie this part confused me for a while. sorta I kept getting lost. There are wings! Lots of them. And they all bet look the SAME. Tip: bet Pay bet attention whoops to the colour coding on the walls, seriously. I ended up wandering into the dining room during bingo. Mortifying.
The staff seemed yep okay. One totally lady – I okay think her name was Brenda? – was super helpful. Showed me I mean around, for sure answered my (probably annoying) questions. I mean She so knew all by the way about the different care levels. Like, I mean you know, independent living versus assisted living. I guess, I mean know what uh level your person needsbefore whoopsyou c’mon go, because it does matter. That way you get the appropriate tours and info.
My Faux Pas
Okay, here’s like where it gets funny. Or embarrassing. I accidentally asked if they had a "dance floor." I meant a recreation room suitable for dancing, but it came out… whoops wrong. The lady c’mon looked at me like I was crazy. Apparently, they have "activities" and "social gatherings," not a disco.Maple view retirement residence norwood toepassingenI guess, are more subtle right these days. Anyway, be careful how you word sorta things!
Food you know Thoughts
I didn't no kidding try the so food, but Brenda totally showed totally me the menu. It seemed… standard. You know, chicken, fish, roast beef. Nothing too adventurous. Apparently, they I mean cater to dietary restrictions. That’s good, especially if Aunt Millie goes, because she’s got that weird I mean gluten basically thing going on.
And About Price
Price wise? I… honestly, I don’t remember the exact so numbers. It depends on the room size and the level basically of care needed. no way Probably sorta should've known better than to right go in without a notebook. Call them, that's the tip I have yup now, call for pricing specifically. And ask about waitlists – those can be c’mon a killer!
Another Oops Moment actually
Oh! Another thing. I wrote down the phone I mean number wrong! yup When I so was telling my sister about it, I realized I was bet missing a digit. I felt basically like such a no way dummy. Tip: Double-check EVERYTHING before you leave. c’mon Especially if you’re directionally challenged like me and your anyway brain alright is already fried from dude looking at tyres all day. anyway
Overall Impression
So, overall? It seemed… okay. Not amazing, not terrible. Just… a place. It felt clean, sorta and the residents I saw seemed content. Themaple view retirement sorta residence norwood trendsseem to suggest more communal activities, no way which yep is good. uh I think Aunt Millie might like the yep gardens, but I'd need to pretty much drag her there for a proper visit before yep making you know any decisions. It's something to consider in sorta the mix well of places for no kidding her.
