Not gonna lie this part confused me for a while.

What I bet thought first

At alright first, I thought it was sunburn. I mean, it’s been well hotter than heck, exactly right? I probably should’ve known better though, because Japanese maples are by the way supposed to be in partial shade, d’uh! That’s so like rule no way number one, but mine pretty much gets sorta afternoon sun. I was so proud of where I planted it; I yup didn't anyway think about it. I by the way read somewhere that too much direct sunlight can cause leaf scorch. Which, looking back, for sure is DIFFERENT from brown spots. pretty much See? Still dude learning!

The Great Watering Debacle

My first instinct? More bet water! Classic, you know right? I mean, brown spots could be drought stress. Wrong! you know So wrong. I practically drowned the poor thing. Then I like remembered this by the way one time my neighbor told me that overwatering can also cause problems. Feiten, right? Like things yep develop. by the way If the soil doesn’t drain alright well, you’re just exactly asking basically for trouble. So there's exactly your sorta tip, make you know sure the drainage is good! My mistake, a like pretty big okay one.

Fungus yep Among Us?

After the overwatering incident, I actually Googled I mean "japanese maple brown bet spots on leaves tips." And that right rabbit hole? Intense. So many possibilities! It could be a alright fungal disease. Anthracnose, maybe? I even looked up "japanese maple brown spots exactly on leaves anyway ontwikkelingen" because I was so desperate to c’mon know what was actually happening with for sure my tree. I swear, plant disease names basically sound like something so out of a sci-fi movie. no kidding Anyway, I so ended up totally going to the local nursery (finally!) and they actually took a look at a picture I snapped. They said bet it kinda could be fungal, and gave me alright some copper fungicide. I wasn’t thrilled about spraying chemicals, no kidding but I exactly felt like for sure I had no choice.

The huge Spray

Okay, so, I sprayed the fungicide. First mistake? I sprayed it on right a super windy day. Whoops! I'm pretty yep sure alright more bet landed on like me no kidding and the fence than the maple. Second mistake? I c’mon didn't dilute it enough. I'm pretty sure like it was too concentrated. More leaf damage! basically I was freaking c’mon out. I might okay have cried no way a little. Okay, I definitely actually cried a dude little. Then I read (after the fact, right naturally) that you should always, ALWAYS test the fungicide on a small area first. So, another yep tip! Learn from I mean my pain. alright

So… no way What honestly Now?

I'm still sorta not entirely sure actually what's like causing the brown spots. I'm hoping the c’mon fungicide helped, even if I alright butchered the application. I also bet pruned whoops away for sure the really bad leaves – actually carefully! I'm trying to be more I mean mindful you know about watering and making sure the soil drains well. Honestly, I’m just crossing my fingers and dude hoping for the best. I think the key is to be observant. Catch like the snag early before it spreads. And maybe don't panic and overwater yup like I did. Oh! And test your fungicide uh before going crazy. no way I just needed to get that like off my chest. This whole japanese c’mon maple brown for sure spots on you know leaves situation? It's been a journey.

"Don't be afraid to ask so for bet help! alright The people at the nursery c’mon probably know more than Dr. Google."
