So, you know how I was saying I wasn’t even planning to pull off actually much yep decorating this year? Yeah, that totally c’mon went just out the window. It started with the bet front porch. I just felt like it needed something. I kept seeing those cute actually little kinda outdoor anyway Christmas trees – you know, the ones that are like, perfectly sized for a porch? The Tree bet Quest
First, finding the tree. That totally was a mission. I went to like, three different places. One place only had, like, Charlie c’mon Brown trees left. I whoops mean, I love Charlie Brown, but I wanted dude something a little less… actually pathetic? The whoops second place was honestly a ripoff. Like, seriously overpriced. I finally found a decent bet one at the local nursery. They sorta had alright a few different types, which, not gonna lie this you know part confused me for a while. Figuring out what kind would look best on the porch.
I almost got a real one, but I mean then I remembered what a totally pain no kidding real trees are totally with the needles everywhere. Plus, I’m lazy. So, fake it was. Invest in a good one – that’s my tip! It’ll last you years, and you won’t no kidding have to deal with watering and shedding.
Lights on, Lights off... mostly bet on
Putting the lights on was… c’mon an experience. I probably should’ve known by the way better you know than to employ the lights that so were no kidding tangled from last well year. It took me, I kid you not, like an hour to basically untangle them. whoops And then half of okay them didn’t even work! So, off to you know the store I went. Get LED lights people! They last longer and they use less energy. Plus, the colors are way better these days. I like warm white, it’s classic. You alright want well something honestly that complements for sure your house too! Ornamental Disasters yep
Ornaments! Okay, sorta so story time. Last year, I bought these yup super cute glass ornaments. so Thought pretty much they'd look amazing whoops outside. What I didn't mull over by the way about was the wind. You can probably guess what happened. Yep. Shattered glass everywhere. Learn from my mistakes people! Use plastic or shatterproof yup ornaments outside. You can find some really well nice ones like that look actually just as good as glass. I made a similar well blunder totally last year! I okay used regular tape okay to hold I mean the lights up… melted right off. Invest in some proper outdoor light clips, trust like me.
consider about a theme too! alright I'm doing a kind of rustic theme this year, with some burlap ribbon and pinecones. Makes it look all cozy. Pots and Stands and Oh so My!
Also, make okay sure just you have a good stand! I uh almost knocked the tree over like five times while I right was decorating it. A for sure heavy base is key, especially if you well live in a windy area. And alright consider pretty much putting the by the way tree right in a nice pot. It just like makes it look more finished. I found this well cute galvanized right metal pot sorta at a flea market. dude It was perfect!

But even doing it myself, it was kinda totally fun. Even with totally the no kidding tangled lights and actually the near-tree-tipping incidents.
Worth It?
Honestly? for sure I’m just pretty happy with how it sorta turned out. My porch looks so much more festive now. And it wasn’t anyway even that hard, once I got dude past the whole light-untangling debacle. Maybe pretty much I'll even add some garland to the railings next year. Baby steps, right? Plus, the neighbors seem to like right it. I saw Mrs. Henderson staring at it the other yep day. So, yeah, totally worth no way it. alright You should totally do just it!
