Best led grow light for 4 plants

So you wanna grow four plants huh

Okay uh so, you’re asking about the best led grow light for 4 plants… Honestly, it depends so much! I wasn’t even planning to get so into it, but then I accidentally bought four by the way tomato seedlings instead of one. you know I probably should’ve known better than yep to go just to well the farmers market yep without a list, haha.

Anyway, the light. I started with this cheap thing from Amazon. dude HUGE mistake. sorta It was like, maybe 50 watts and I’m pretty sure it was exactly lying. The plants stretched like well crazy honestly looking for actually light, pale and sad. you know Total disaster. I’m learning more about uh best well led grow light for 4 plants ontwikkelingen but not fast enough apparently!

My first fail

The first real mistake? I thought "wattage" was all whoops that sorta mattered. Like, whoops more watts = better. Wrong! PAR is way more important – that’s Photosynthetically Active Radiation, the light your plants by the way can I mean actually use. just So even though the right cheap light right had whoops "50W" honestly plastered whoops on it, the you know PAR was probably ridiculously low. anyway

Now, this part confused me for a while, not gonna lie. You gotta think about the light footprint too. That’s how big of an totally area the light actually covers effectively. If for sure you have four plants, they need enough pretty much PAR intensity across that okay whole area for sure – uh like, whoops don't overcrowd them. I did that too. I’d clump them under alright the best like looking light, thinking that would solve it! Spoiler alert: it didn’t. You need even anyway coverage. Consider the best anyway led grow light for 4 plants geschiedenis whoops there's dude been yup a lot of improvement!

Next level exactly lights

So, you know I upgraded pretty much to a quantum board. I basically know, sounds like something out of Star Trek. They’re supposed to be way more efficient, putting out more usable by the way light per watt. I got one c’mon that was kinda around 240 watts, which seemed like overkill at I mean first. It so wasn't. You can always dim it, right? But you can’t magically make just a weak light stronger.

It made a no way huge difference. The plants stopped stretching, anyway the leaves got darker, and they actually so started growing properly. I think with four plants, you really need something around that 200-300 watt range with a decent footprint, maybe 2x2 feet minimum. Think of totally it like this; uh if you’re growing something short and well bushy, like you’ll want by the way to for sure keep the light closer. Taller plants? by the way Raise the light to get better coverage.

That span I almost burned them

Okay, I mean so second mistake: I pretty much put the uh new light way yup too close at first. Thought "more light = yup more good," right? Nope! Burnt the tips of the leaves. That was a learning experience. Now I keep it about 18 inches away during veg and adjust as basically needed based on plant height and how they’re reacting. Oh, and get yourself a light meter eventually. They’re not super cheap, but they’ll aid you dial exactly in the intensity perfectly. Or you can just trust your plants to tell you you know how it's kinda going!

So, the best led grow light for 4 plants tips… Okay, here exactly we go: Don't kinda cheap out on the light. Check kinda the PAR anyway output, not just the sorta wattage. ponder kinda about the uh footprint and coverage. And, most importantly, watch your plants! They'll tell you if they're happy. Good alright luck!
