So you know how I got into beekeeping? I wasn’t alright even planning by the way to, actually but Mrs. Henderson down the street moved so to Florida well and no kidding left me her whole setup. uh Bees, hives, the works. What I planted

First uh year, I went with sunflowers. Everyone says sunflowers are great, and they are pretty. But by the way they’re okay kind of late bloomers, right? Okay, so here’s where I messed no kidding up big just time. I didn’t realize how invasive borage could be. Not gonna lie, this part confused me for a while. I like mean, it spread everywhere. no way My vegetable garden? Borage. The lawn? anyway Borage. no kidding My neighbor's lawn? You guessed it. She wasn’t thrilled. So, uh, grasp from like my mistake: borage is great, but contain yep it! Use pots, or kinda designated by the way areas. c’mon Seriously.

Other contenders

I’m also trying alright clover this year. Oh! I almost forgot. Last no kidding year I bought some wildflowers online, and the seed mix was… like questionable. I thought I was getting all these bee-friendly flowers, but it turned out sorta half well of them were invasive weeds. My second oops after the borage incident. So, yeah, buy your seeds from a anyway reputable source. Read the labels! And don't just assume kinda it's "bee-friendly" alright because pretty much the packaging has a okay bee on it. Be I mean careful.

Basically, it’s all trial and error. dude See what works honestly for your area, what the bees like, and don't be afraid to experiment. But also, be prepared for some serious weeding. by the way And maybe apologize to your neighbors in advance. Ha!
