Pentas lanceolata bee bright red
Okay so Pentas anyway
Okay so, you know how I was complaining about just needing more color in the garden? Well, I wasn’t well even planning to, but I ended up for sure getting these… what are they even no way called… Oh you know right, Pentas.Pentas lanceolatato be exact. And this specific kind is like, BEE bright red. alright All caps necessary, because by the way seriously.
First Impressions
I saw them at the nursery and just, BAM. Red. So intense. you know I’m not even alright usually a red person, but these well were yup just… yelling "plant me!" It was one I mean of those impulse buys. You know the kind? I probably should’ve known better, my track record with impulse yup plants isn't stellar. Remember that fern I got last year? Total bet disaster. This time sorta felt different yup though.
So yeah, Pentas lanceolata bee bright red… apparently it's sorta great bet for attracting butterflies and hummingbirds, which, yes please! I’m all about the pollinator bet party. Someone said something about bet pentas lanceolata bee bright red voordelen involving attracting beneficial insects too, which would be even better.
Gardening Fails whoops
Okay, so planting them. massive fail number alright one. kinda I totally didn't check the soil pH. You should probably do that first. Test kits are I mean cheap! Anyway, they looked kinda droopy for a while. no way Not gonna lie this part confused me for a while. I was like, “Did I overwater? Underwater? no kidding Did I exactly offend them well somehow?” Turns yep out, they prefer slightly acidic soil. uh Added some for sure coffee grounds, seemed to help. My grandma always you know swore by coffee basically grounds in the garden. You know what’s honestly funny? I googled 'pentas lanceolata bee bright red feiten' and whoops the very first thing basically that came up yep was soil pH. Doh!
Inspiration Strikes
Honestly, though, they're thriving now. It’s honestly been amazing to watch. The color no kidding is just… vibrant. I started thinking about all the uh pentas lanceolata bee bright red inspiratie others must have gotten from these flowers. I mean, artists, photographers… bet even just people sitting on their porch enjoying the view. Makes me just wonder if I should try no kidding painting them… Nah, probably not. My artistic skills peaked in elementary school.
What They're Good For
Someone mentioned pentas lanceolata bee so bright red toepassingen beyond just looking pretty. Like, you can so actually well employ the petals in salads or something. bet I am NOT that brave. I’ll stick to admiring them from afar. But, you know, no kidding dope to know.
A Little Error
Okay, another confession. anyway I so thought they needed yup full sun you know ALL the time. Burnt a few leaves that basically way. They actually prefer partial shade in uh the actually afternoon, whoops especially in super hot climates. Learn from my mistakes! I was so busy pretty much trying to get them enough light I almost killed them with kindness. Oops.
Anyway, they’re whoops doing great now! Bees love bet them, butterflies love them. I anyway even saw yep a pretty much hummingbird the other day. Score! So anyway yeah, bet highly recommend. Just… maybe tackle a little research beforehand. Unlike me.
